Powder Coat

Here at All Quality Aluminum Foundry we strive to give our customers the very best. We carry many different powder coat colors to best fit every customers' needs. We also make sure that every powder coated part is handled with care from start to finish.

We currently use two different methods to powder coat our parts.

  • Fluidized Bed Powder Coating

  • Spray Coating

We have two powder coat ovens. Our biggest oven is gas powered (pictured to the left) and our smaller oven is electric (pictured to the right).

The Process

The first step of the process is to heat the parts that are going to be powder coated. This is done by putting a basket of parts into the oven. Each part is heated to a different temperature but the average temperature is 500 degrees Fahrenheit. This step is also known as degassing the part.

The next step is to  take each part out of the oven and put them onto a hook to be sprayed or immersed in powder coat.

After the part is on the hook, the next step is to powder coat the part. This step as said before, can be done in two different ways.

After the part is powder coated it is hung on a rack to cool off. The parts then go to the shipping department to be assembled and shipped.

For every order of parts that are powder coated we require a processing sheet to ensure that all parts are coated correctly.
